Why: Language teachers have a big influence on which words learners will focus their attention on. To choose useful words, we should know the frequency of words in the language and our learners' frequency i+1s (detemine this with tests). The problem is, native speakers are often poor at mid-level frequency judgments (see some research) - but practice may help!

How: Choose quiz size, frequency scheme (VP-BNC or VP-COCA), and click Build (re-clickable). For each word, guess the frequency level, and click Check when finished. Work the set until you get 100%.
